Free to join — no tokens required. Challenge racers from across the Caribbean and climb the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Ladder on 1Caribbean.gg.

🎮 Quick Match Setup

1. Add your opponent using their Switch Friend Code.
2. From the main menu, select Online Play → Friends → Create Room.
3. Use the following settings:
   • Mode: VS Race
   • CC: 150cc
   • Items: Normal
   • CPU: Off
   • Courses: Player’s Choice
   • Race Count: 3 Races
4. Play a Best-of-3 series — the first player to win 2 out of 3 races wins the match.
5. Players may agree on specific tracks or select “Random” before each race.

📋 Track Rules & Settings

• Engine Class: 150cc (default competitive standard)
• Smart Steering: Optional (both players must agree)
• Mirror Mode: Off
• All Vehicles: Allowed
• Items: Normal

🏁 Scoring & Results

• Each race awards points automatically in-game (15 for 1st, 12 for 2nd, etc.).
• After 3 races, if total points are tied, play one deciding Golden Race.
• The winner of the majority (2 out of 3 races) or the Golden Race is the match winner.

📝 Reporting Results

• After the Best-of-3 series, report who won and who lost on 1Caribbean.gg.
• Example: “Player A defeated Player B.”
• Only upload screenshots or clips if a dispute occurs.
• If disputed, players must send a screenshot of the final results to the official Discord channel #match-disputes for review.

🌐 Disconnects & Restarts

• Pre-Race Disconnect: Restart that race once connection is stable.
• Mid-Race Disconnect: If a disconnect occurs before the halfway point, restart; if after halfway, results stand.
• Lag or Desync: Restart only if both players agree or verified by an admin.

🤝 Fair Play

• No cheats, mods, or altered game files.
• All players must use their own Nintendo accounts and profiles.
• No trolling or intentional sabotage (e.g., AFK driving, fake starts).
• Respect your opponent and admins. Toxic or unsportsmanlike conduct can result in suspension or bans.
• Admin decisions are final after review.
